1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms," "Agreement") form a binding legal agreement between you ("you," "user") and OpenLab ("we," "us," "our," the "Developer"), governing your access to and use of the mobile application True Calendar – World Football 2026 (the "App") and all related services.
These Terms incorporate by reference:
- Our Privacy Policy (available in-App and at truecalendar.app/privacy),
- The Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA"), available at apple.com/legal/.../stdeula/,
- Any additional notices presented in-App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA/UK, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:
- You meet the minimum age requirement, or have valid consent from a parent or legal guardian;
- You have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement;
- You are not barred from receiving the App under the laws of any applicable jurisdiction, including export controls or sanctions.
If you are a parent or guardian and your child is using the App, you accept responsibility for their use.
3. Important Disclaimer - Not Affiliated with FIFA
The names, logos, marks, trophies, emblems, and identifiers related to "FIFA," "World Football," "FIFA World Football," national football associations, official team kits, and tournament branding are the property of FIFA and their respective rights holders. We do not reproduce FIFA trademarks or copyrighted imagery inside the App. We use only generic football vocabulary, country flag emojis (Unicode), and licensed third-party sports data for fan information purposes.
Any reference to the name of the 2026 international football tournament is used solely in its descriptive, nominative sense to identify the publicly available match information displayed, and is not intended to suggest any sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation. If you are a rights holder and believe content within the App infringes your rights, contact us at support@truecalendar.app and we will respond promptly.
4. License to Use the App
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control, as authorized by the Apple EULA.
This license does not permit you to:
- Copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law;
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the App;
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices (copyright, trademark, etc.);
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
- Bypass, disable, or interfere with advertising, anti-fraud, security, or content-protection mechanisms;
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or extract data from the App;
- Use the App or its data to develop, train, or improve a competing product or AI/ML model;
- Make the App available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices simultaneously (except as expressly permitted by Apple Family Sharing for the Remove Ads purchase).
5. Account, Favorites, and Local Data
The App does not require account registration. Your preferences - favorite teams (up to 5), notification settings, language, and time zone - are stored locally on your device and may be synced through your Apple iCloud account.
Because no account is created, there is no account to delete; all locally stored data is removed when you uninstall the App, and iCloud-synced preferences can be deleted via your iOS/iCloud settings. You are responsible for backing up your data and for any consequences of losing access to your Apple ID or device.
6. In-App Purchases - Remove Ads SURVIVES
The App is free to download. The default experience is ad-supported. You may purchase "Remove Ads," a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase priced at USD $2.99 (or local equivalent; pricing may be adjusted in select territories to reflect Purchasing Power Parity).
- All purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We do not handle your payment card details.
- Once successfully purchased, ads will be removed from current and future App content for the lifetime of the App on the Apple ID used.
- The purchase is shareable via Apple Family Sharing, subject to Apple's rules.
- All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by Apple's refund policy or mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction (e.g., the EU 14-day cooling-off period for digital content, which you may have waived at purchase by requesting immediate delivery).
- Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to process refunds on Apple's behalf.
- A "Restore Purchases" option is available in the App's Settings; you may restore on devices signed in to the same Apple ID.
- The price may change at any time for new purchases; existing purchases are unaffected.
- We may at our sole discretion offer promotional pricing or limited-time discounts.
7. Permissions, Notifications, Calendar, and Wallet
The App may request the following iOS permissions, which you can grant or revoke at any time in iOS Settings:
- Notifications - to send match alerts (kickoff, 15-minute reminder, goals, line-ups, half-time, full-time);
- App Tracking Transparency (ATT) - to use IDFA for personalized ads (optional);
- Calendar (EventKit) - to add matches to your iOS Calendar when you choose;
- Wallet (PassKit) - to add a match pass to your Apple Wallet when you choose;
- iCloud - to sync your favorite teams between your devices.
8. Third-Party Services and Sports Data SURVIVES
The App relies on data from third-party sports providers, and displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. The App also uses Firebase, Amplitude, RevenueCat, and Apple services as described in our Privacy Policy.
While we strive for accuracy and timeliness:
- We do NOT guarantee that fixtures, scores, statistics, line-ups, stadium information, or any other sports data are accurate, complete, current, or error-free;
- Match schedules, kickoff times, venues, and even teams may be changed at the discretion of FIFA, the host federations, or the tournament organizers, and such changes may not be reflected in the App immediately;
- You should not rely on the App for travel, ticketing, gambling, broadcast scheduling, or any other consequential decision. Always verify with official sources (FIFA, the relevant federation, your broadcaster, or your travel/ticket provider).
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, practices, or policies of third-party services, advertisements, or websites linked from the App.
9. Acceptable Use SURVIVES
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App in violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right;
- Use the App for or in connection with gambling, betting, or sports-wagering activity (the App is purely informational; we do not provide betting odds, tips, or partnerships with sportsbooks);
- Use the App to harm, harass, threaten, or defame any person or group;
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, ransomware, or any harmful code;
- Probe, scan, test, or attempt to penetrate the vulnerabilities of any system or network used by the App;
- Use the App in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks;
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
- Use the App or its content to train, develop, or improve any machine-learning model, large language model, or competing product.
We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation and to cooperate with law enforcement.
10. Intellectual Property SURVIVES
10.1 Our IP
Except for FIFA-related marks and third-party content noted in Section 3 and Section 8, all content in the App - including code, design, layout, user interface, original graphics, App name "True Calendar," and accompanying materials - is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
These Terms grant you no right or license to our trademarks, service marks, or trade dress.
10.2 Third-Party IP
Sports data is provided under license from third-party providers. Country flags are Unicode emojis. National team names refer to historical and contemporary teams; they are used in their nominative descriptive sense and any associated marks remain the property of their respective national federations and FIFA.
10.3 Feedback
If you provide ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the App, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use such feedback for any purpose without compensation.
10.4 DMCA / Copyright Notices
If you believe content in the App infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@truecalendar.app containing: (i) your contact details; (ii) identification of the copyrighted work; (iii) identification of the infringing material; (iv) a statement of good faith belief; (v) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act; (vi) your physical or electronic signature.
11. Disclaimers SURVIVES
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement; warranties arising from course of dealing or trade; any warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or operate without delay; any warranty regarding accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of sports data; and any warranty that defects will be corrected.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In such jurisdictions, the foregoing exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law, and you may have additional consumer rights.
12. Limitation of Liability SURVIVES
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages;
- Loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings, data, or use;
- Damages arising from your reliance on inaccurate or untimely sports data;
- Damages arising from missed notifications, missed matches, missed travel, missed wagers (you should not be using the App for wagering - see Section 9), or any other consequential loss;
- Damages caused by third-party services, advertisements, or content;
Arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification SURVIVES
To the extent permitted by applicable law (and except where you act as a consumer and such indemnity is not enforceable against you), you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless OpenLab and its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, agents, suppliers, and licensors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: your use or misuse of the App; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any third-party right; your violation of any applicable law; or any content or data you submit through the App. We may assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, in which case you agree to cooperate.
14. Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including a violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or for any business reason.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
15. Apple-Specific Terms SURVIVES
You acknowledge that these Terms are concluded between you and us only, not with Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Notwithstanding the foregoing:
- Maintenance and Support: We, not Apple, are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the App.
- Warranty: In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be our sole responsibility.
- Product Claims: We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App.
- Intellectual Property Rights: In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
- Legal Compliance: You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Third-Party Beneficiary: Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:
- The "Last Updated" date at the top will change;
- For material changes, we will provide notice in-App (and may require you to acknowledge);
- Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
If you do not agree with the updated Terms, your sole remedy is to stop using and uninstall the App.
17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution SURVIVES
Consumer protection: Nothing in this clause deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence, nor of your right to bring proceedings before the courts of your domicile where such right cannot be waived under applicable law.
18. Miscellaneous SURVIVES
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Apple EULA, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
- Severability: If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect, and the unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
- No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force Majeure: We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control (acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemic, governmental action, internet or telecommunications failures, etc.).
- Headings: Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
- Language: These Terms are made in English. Translations are provided for convenience; if there is a conflict between the English version and a translation, the English version controls unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
